The Church, Children, and Soul Revival

This article was originally writter as a ‘white paper’ to our church community at Soul Revival to help explain the theological and theoretical approach that Stuart Crawshaw (Senior Pastor) and myself were taking to children’s ministry. It therefore features as a developed ministry philosophy for children’s ministry in an intergenerational church. The diagrams in the paper were sketched together during one particularly fruitful lunch meeting and have helped give visual representation to the intergenerational model that Soul Revival values. I have subsequently used these diagrams in training, lecturing and advising to help explain intergenerational ministry from the child’s perspective.
